Finance for the High School Grad
An Extension Session on Exponential Functions
Have you ever dreamed about buying THAT car?
Be it a Shelby F-150, a BMW, or a Bugatti, buying THAT car is going to take some money which you most likely do not have right now, so you are going to need to build a savings plan in order to buy THAT car.
Congratulations! You just found the website to help you build that plan.
This is a digital study of financial information considered advantageous for all high school graduates.
The focus of this study is an extension of Exponential Function analysis as applied to the dynamics of financial investments.
When you are done here, you will (in addition to adding a bonus skill of building a budget) be able to determine the future value of an investment considering the beginning investment, compounding rate, and annual interest rate.
This means that you will be able to predict when you will have enough money to buy THAT car!

So here's the plan...
This skill is based on the manipulation of Exponential Functions, such as Value = $500(1.05)^20.
